The Analysis of the Implementation of Research-Based Learning with STEM Approach to Improving the Students’ Metaliteracy in Solving the Resolving Strong Dominating Set Problem on traffic CCTV placement

Metaliteracy is urgently needed in the digital era, however, still not widely owned by students. This metaliteracy requires high-level thinking skills to process various problems with media sources, as well it a collaborative environment. To achieve good equipped higher skill, we will implement research-based learning STEM approach process. study uses mixed-method combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The subject of this students mathematics education candidates for teachers. They are grouped into two classes, namely, experiment class control class. We used an independent sample t-test determine significant difference students’ between under implementation model resolve strong domination problem. Before testing difference, tested homogeneity. test results on pre-test items showed that significance score 0.747 > 0.05, meaning classes homogeneous. 0.020 < which indicates significant. It implies implementing materials affects improvements.
